As a part-time SENDCO I did not have the time or capacity to generate evidence needed for access arrangements. Julie was incredibly efficient and liaised with team members, parents, teachers and the Exams Officer to ensure evidence was detailed, accurate and reflective of JCQ requirements. We have worked with Julie for the past two years on an ad hoc basis for our Access Arrangements and are delighted to have found such an experienced SENDCO, who is incredibly organised and a pleasure to work with. Julie’s attention to detail and communication is exceptional and she clarifies exactly what is needed to process an application to JCQ requirements. If there is a shortfall in evidence, she has made herself available, sometimes at very short notice, to conduct assessments to ensure applications are correctly processed. Julie Jones is an absolute gem. She is extremely well-qualified, experienced and knows her stuff on all aspects of SEND. She is absolutely the go-to person if you have any SEND-related issues. In addition, Julie is hard-working and always goes above and beyond to make sure that the students' needs are met, as well as the Centre's. She is liked and respected by students and staff alike, with a positive attitude and solutions-based approach.
