Autumn Term 2024: Organise candidate assessments for access arrangements.
Julie holds a Level 7 Postgraduate Award of Proficiency in Assessment for Access Arrangements (PAPAA) and has over 20 years experience of working with SEND students from ages 4-19 years. Julie has worked with students with a whole range of SpLD’s, across a range of settings. Most of her time was was spent as Testing and Assessment lead in a mainstream setting, then on to an Assistant SENCO in a specialist SEMH provision.
For the last 4 years, Julie has also worked self-employed as a specialist assessor for access arrangements in examinations and is regularly commissioned by secondary schools and colleges, across the West Midlands, to act as their appointed assessor. Julie attends continuous professional development courses, and has a sound knowledge of JCQ regulations, to ensure she offers the best possible service and advice to all professionals.
